Aim and Scope
Energy Economics Letters provides a platform for scholars to discuss the papers concerned with the economics, econometric modeling, analysis of energy systems and issues. EEL covers a number of disciplines, including energy economics theory, energy planning and management, energy modeling, financial economics, regulatory economics, computational economics, statistics, econometrics, operational research and strategic modelling. EEL is of interest to professional economists, financial analysts, consultants, policy makers as well as academic researchers related with the economic analysis of energy issues, broadly interpreted. Moreover, EEL is also considers the economic and environmental impacts of energy sources such as geothermal, hydrogen, hydropower, solar and wind, electricity generation and consumption etc. The journal publishes papers on qualitative methodology, discussions on analysis of the validity, reliability of empirical results, policy evaluations, cross-countries data analysis, panel data analysis, time series analysis and EEL more focuses on energy economics, econometrics and statistical tools base research. The journal is published on the Quarterly Basis (March, June, September, and December). All articles are subjected to a double blind peer-review process. Manuscripts are invited from academicians, researchers and practitioners for publication consideration in all areas related to the theme Energy Economics related to applied sciences. Each manuscript must include 100 to 150 words abstract. Articles are accepted only in MS-Word format.

EEL accepts submissions from different regions of the world and aims to publish articles that can be linked with economics, econometric modeling, analysis of energy systems and issues.
Being an international journal, the natural audience for EEL includes students, academics, researchers, and professionals in the fields of energy economics. Likely subscribers are universities, research institutions, research funding organizations, governmental and international agencies, regulatory institutions and individual researchers.
Guest Editors are kindly invited to produce Special Issues consisting of articles organized around a theme of particular interest. These special issues are often edited by guest editors who are not on the editorial board. Proposals for Special Issues are most welcomed as are Guest Editorials and Announcements.
